What is the Diffing Algorithm?

How Does the Diffing Algorithm Work?

- When a component’s state or props change, React creates a new Virtual DOM representation of the component.
- This new representation is compared with the previous one to detect changes.

- Each element in the Virtual DOM is assigned a unique key (usually provided in lists).
- React uses these keys to efficiently track elements and match them between the old and new Virtual DOM representations.

- It identifies which elements were added, removed, or updated by recursively comparing nodes in both trees.
